We have been using these GrassFlaps for over three years and they work great. In my experience, if you take care of your equipment, they can last for years. However, if you have employees that are rough on equipment, the GrassFlaps may not last more than one year.

The GrassFlap chute blocker for my JD Z930A arrived quickly, was easy to install and operates smoothly. It is made of high quality materials and the installation instructions were well written and easy to follow.
The pedal operator makes the GrassFlap easy to use on my ZT and is extremely effective at minimizing grass clippings getting into my mulched flower beds.
My only question is “Why did I wait so long to get one”!!

Absolutely worth the price, great quality product that works flawlessly! In my opinion this is the best chute blocker on the market.

Fast shipping, easy install and works great. One star off because:
1). The over-center spring rubs the pivot bolt which really doesn't hinder its operation, but it will eventually wear through the spring. They told me it was designed that way to keep the flap aligned. Ok, I'll just keep it greased good where the wear point is.
2). Kind of expensive for what it is but it's well made and there's no plastic parts.

Quick shipping, was missing spring bolt but it was shipped the next day and service handled it great. Works great and was fairly easy install. Adjusting was really pretty simple once I realized how it worked. The videos were a great help.

I really like the grass flap it works great around places I don't want to get clippings. The grass flap is easily installed only takes a little time.

Love it! Installation was not too bad- the ability to go from open to closed discharge with the push of a pedal is a game changer! Leaves a line with flap down but is easy to go over once more and make it disappear. Almost as good as a dedicated mulch kit. I have new high lift blades on it but curious to see how mulching blades do for it. Recommend for sure!

Very easy installation. Works flawlessly. Would recommend to all who need to mulch leaves or just keeping grass out of flower beds and walkways. Great product.

Easy to install! This unit works great on my JD 950M zero turn.

I'm pretty happy with my grass flap but still trying to get it balanced when you push on the pedal and have it go all the way up seems like I have to push down it very hard.
Also I'm including a picture of the space between the deck and when the grass flap is when down I'm wanting to know if it is correct because it seems like a lot of grass blows back on top of the deck and if it was closer I don't think it would do that?

Great product I have it on all of my mowers for my Lawncare company. Will continue to use the grass flap on any future mowers bought.

This is my third purchase. I run three JD Z900’s 60”. I did a lot of research before I decided on Grass Flap. The design and durability is what sold me. The ease of use and install with not having to drill holes is a huge plus. Great product. As long as I am mowing I will continue to use Grass Flap.

Perfect fit for my John deere 970. Installation was simple and all hardware was included.

Excellent product, it was easy to install on my John Deere z950m, the instructional video on YouTube showed exactly what you had to do to install it correctly.
It works flawlessly. It’s a little loud when closing but not too bad. The only downfall to it is when you close it, it blows grass onto the operator. Nothing that can’t be fixed with a little ingenuity.
I’ll 100% buy again with my next mower purchase

Easy to install,works great love it

Installation was easy enough, but the slots where the bracket mounts to the deck were not spaced ideally for the 60 7 iron deck. It seems like the deck wanted to be between the first and second slot to fit perfect. Operation of the flap has gotten easier with use, but I don’t like how perfect you need to push the pedal to get it to open or close. Maybe I’ll get really good with practice, but if you don’t push the pedal just right then it doesn’t work. And I wish the flap had a better seal because on thinner lawns I get way too much grass/dust flying out the front and top of the flap and into my face. I already tried aligning it the best I could, but I’ll probably mess with it again and maybe even try to install some top weather stripping to prevent so much blow back when the flap is closed. Good quality parts though, pedal concept is much better than a hand lever, and it’s better than not having a flap. I haven’t tried other 3rd party flaps to know how they compare, but other mowers I’ve had with OEM mulching flaps seal much much better than the grass flap. If you have any advice to help with this I’d appreciate it.
