Heavy-Duty GrassFlap® brand chute blocker with 5L Pedal.

The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker is the ideal OCDC, operator controlled discharge chute. The foot-operation allows the user to close the discharge chute at any time, any place without taking their hands off the mower€™s controls. The chute blocker plate opens a full 180 degrees and completely clears the edge of the mower to allow the mower to fit in those tight spaces. The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker fits most zero-turn mowers.

What's Included

The kit includes everything needed to install and operate the GrassFlap® brand chute blocker.

This includes:

2-piece steel and heavy-duty plastic flap assembly to mount to discharge opening
5L pedal (10-99-41)
50" cable (10-99-08)
Flap Mount 6 (10-99-17)
Mounting hardware for installation

The 5L Pedal has the cable exit the pedal parallel to mounting surface and has an L shaped base for mounting.

Installation

Assembly is required, including drilling holes in mower deck and operator foot deck to install. Modification to blocker plate size and shape may be required for best fit on some mowers.

I installed the grass flap and it was easy to do. Sp far so good, it is winter and no grass to cut but we will see in the Spring how it works.

I have another zero turn with a similar hand operated device ,this one works great and much better, customer service you cant beat I actually gave them the wrong info for mower and they split the difference on shipping and actually called right back with questions about the application .Will definitely use again and have already recommended to several of my friends !!!!

It was a little confusing at first to put together. I think it would help to have actual pictures of the parts not just drawings. Once it was on the actual performance has been GREAT!!!!

not bc they are poor quality. I have 3 commercial mowers and these are perfect! Replacement parts are inexpensive. Grass flap is easy to install

'-A bit of a pain to install w/o any kind of adapter to the deck.
-Needs a setting to allow it to stay at half opening w/o having to hold and finesse the pedal.
-Grass clogs and allows excess to blow out when flap is down at the front leading edge of flap. Mulching blades may solve that problem.

I would buy it again. Saves time from blocking grass from blowing into beds, roadway, etc...

I really like the ease of using my foot to open and close the flap. I used to have advance shoot blocker which works good but you have to use your hands and I didn't use it that much unless I really need it because of that. With using my foot that is the key. A little pricey though , But I would buy it again

this is the 3rd one I've bought. 2 went on scag and this one on toro. Love the hands free action. Able to run half closed when needed all while maneuvering mower. I highly recommend this grass flap.

Takes 2 minutes to get used to and then you won't live without it. Great quality n easy install..Dave was awesome n shipped it out the same day. Have not needed any customer support so can't give any opinion, but if it is like the quality and purchase experience then you will not be disappointed..
