The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker is the ideal OCDC, operator controlled discharge chute. The chute blocker plate opens a full 180 degrees and completely clears the edge of the mower to allow the mower to fit in those tight spaces.

Installation
Direct bolt installation of flap assembly to existing holes at discharge opening. Drilling holes to mount foot pedal may be required.
NOTE: On mowers with foot pans that can close, a new hole will need to be drilled for latch.
Very happy with this product!! I installed it on my new gravely pro stance ultra 52 and it’s a game changer. I’ve been using other chute blockers with handles, and reaching over the controls and letting go of them to operate it is a hassle. I will be getting another grass flap for my gravely pro stance 36” as well very very soon. Customer service was very helpful verifying fitment and informing me only the foot pedal is available but the handle is in production and will be released in the future.
Iv ran many of chute blockers and iv always like this one other than the cables. They look to be heavier duty this time but so far its better than the Ballard, Spencer, green guard and definitely anything factory.

This review is NOT for a 'steel' blocker plate version (not sure where that info is from?). The chute works as it should. This is my second one I have purchased. I really like the simplicity and recommend one for anyone that truly wants to block off most of their grass clippings!!! I wanted to give it 5 starts but removed one because I DID have to drill in order to mount the foot pedal for my 2025 Gravely Prostance 52". the supplied bolts are too large to pass through any existing openings. In retrospect, I should have ordered the hand operated model...so much easier.
I have had GrassFlaps on all my mowers since i started 20 years ago. I love them and they help me perform my duties well. Lawns look great and clean looking.

Once I figured out how to adjust the spring and do the tapping motion part way down with your foot it's just awesome. Out of the way and does the trick. I would recommend some stronger steel behind the bar that allows you to attach your grass catcher. It bent easily but no worries I have a friend who is a welder. The flap is fantastic. I would highly recommend
