Low Profile Heavy-Duty GrassFlap® brand chute blocker with 6 Pedal.

The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker is the ideal OCDC, operator controlled discharge chute. The foot-operation allows the user to close the discharge chute at any time, any place without taking their hands off the mower€™s controls. The chute blocker plate opens a full 180 degrees and completely clears the edge of the mower to allow the mower to fit in those tight spaces. The GrassFlap® chute blocker fits most zero-turn mowers.

What's Included

The kit includes everything needed to install and operate the GrassFlap® brand chute blocker.

This includes:

  • 2-piece steel and heavy-duty plastic flap assembly to mount to discharge opening
  • 6 Pedal (10-99-13)
  • 70" cable (10-99-07)
  • Mounting hardware for installation

The 6 Pedal has the cable exit out the rear of the pedal.

Installation

Assembly is required, including drilling holes in mower deck and operator foot deck to install. Modification to blocker plate size and shape may be required for best fit on some mowers.

Overall very pleased. Although the hardware for our application was not correct. longer shims and longer bolts were used.

This was my second GrassFlap. It was for an old EverRide Wasp walkbegind, and David helped me select the correct GrassFlap for it. The install was easy, as I put one on my Scag ZTR 2 years ago, and had experience. In my opinion, this is the best OCDC available. The hands free operation makes all the difference. I know for a fact that my 1st GrassFlap kept me slinging an unseen chunk of 2"x4" through a new clients patio doors. I won't cut on someone else's property without one.

Love this flap system. Takes a little self engineering to get it installed but works flawlessly. I completely under estimated how well built it is. The hinge plate is pretty heavy, I was expecting it to be much lighter. My only issue was routing the cable. The muffler was in the way and keeping it off the belts and pulleys is tricky. Otherwise definitely worth it. Especially when mulch has just been spread.
