The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker is the ideal OCDC, operator controlled discharge chute. The foot-operation allows the user to close the discharge chute at any time, any place without taking their hands off the mower€™s controls. The chute blocker plate opens a full 180 degrees and completely clears the edge of the mower to allow the mower to fit in those tight spaces. The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker fits most zero-turn mowers.

The 5L Pedal has the cable exit the pedal parallel to mounting surface and has an L shaped base for mounting.
Installation
Some assembly is required. May require drilling holes in operator foot deck to install pedal.

It's my 3rd grassflap and I have nothing but great things to say. Besides the price being much higher since the first one but that's alot of things nowadays.... these things are a must on commercial mowers...
Absolutely love this grass flap!.. replaced an oem exmark flap and I must say this new one is heavy duty, functions easily and I easy to operate by foot. I have a quick shoot blocker that is operated by hand and it is more difficult due to having to drive with one hand instead of being foot operated. Grass flap by far is top dog in my book!

Quality materials
I recently purchased a GrassFlap. I had a question about the installation and left a message for technical support 2 days ago. I still haven't received a call back from them. I give the GrassFlap a 5 star rating but I give technical support a 1 star.
400 for 50 bucks of material. Still the best on the market
15/10 would buy it again, but it is too expensive for what it is.
Well. Not much to say… works great.
This was my second purchase of this model chute blocker after getting the first one and using it for a while i decided it is a must have on any mower.
I viewed the tutorial videos which helped a lot for adjusting spring tention.
Works Great. Very Fast shipping. Arrived a couple days after I ordered. Install was simple and very happy with the performance. I would say it blocks about 95% of grass.
I had watched a few install videos so I was prepared. Install took about 45 minutes. Mostly due to my mower model and not the kit. Love the Grassflap so far. Have used it for about 6 to 7 hours so far.

Built nicely, could have a few more holes for a no drill foot peddle mount. Instructions are a little rough but it’s easy enough to figure out. Works great!

Easy to install and works like a charm
Well worth the money, after contemplating if I needed it, I’m glad I bought it! It helps me more quicker and not have to worry about cleaning up grass clippings when close to garden beds, roadways, or have to plan which way I’m mowing. If you’re trying to decide if you should get one. I’d highly recommend doing so!

Easy to mount and install. This is a great item.
Only issue is that you cannot set it to be open a little bit if you are in a grassy area between beds. You have to keep your foot on it. It can only be set in the open position or closed position. A quarter and half open lock would be a great feature. When fully closed it has a tendency to clump on the shoot end and then you have to run those piles over again.
Easy install and works great. Had a slight issue with bolt size so I had to drill the hole slightly for the foot pedal (like it says in directions) and it fit great.
I have 11 commercial mowers all with grass flaps. They are great. I do not know how to mow without them.
These guys and gals are awesome! Great product at a fair price; I have been using their products for the last 16 years and will continue to do so.
