The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker is the ideal OCDC, operator controlled discharge chute. The foot-operation allows the user to close the discharge chute at any time, any place without taking their hands off the mower€™s controls. The chute blocker plate opens a full 180 degrees and completely clears the edge of the mower to allow the mower to fit in those tight spaces. The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker fits most zero-turn mowers.

What's Included
The kit includes everything needed to install and operate the GrassFlap® brand chute blocker.
This includes:
- 2-piece steel and heavy-duty plastic flap assembly to mount to discharge opening
- 5L pedal (10-99-41)
- 50" cable (10-99-08)
- Deck cover plate (A44)
- Mounting hardware for installation
The 5L Pedal has the cable exit the pedal parallel to mounting surface and has an L shaped base for mounting.
Installation
Assembly is required, including drilling holes in mower deck and operator foot deck to install. Modification to blocker plate size and shape may be required for best fit on some mowers.
Installed great. Would like to see some kind of rubber coating or gasket so to speak to help block the grass from coming above it
Works great! Had to get used to the pedal as in the past I’ve used a different. Looks to be durable. I’ve only had it on for a week now. We’ll see how long the cable lasts. Directions were okay took longer to install then I had planned
Product over all is a 10. Some issues are the instructions were made for someone who has knowledge of dealing with this product. For the new guy/1st timer it was a little frustrating. Some drilling required. Product works flawlessly and I would buy again.

Fairly easy to install with the instructions included. Worked well for the first use, makes life easier entering gate for a lot of extra clearance now.

The grass flap is phenomenal. A step above the other chute blockers out there. Despite a few vague instructions on the installation packet, the install went fairly smoothly. The ease of use is beyond any other lever operated chute blocker. To be able to quickly open and close the blocker without taking my hands off the drive, is the epitome of convenience. The build quality is very nice. Heavy duty and built to last.
The product is undoubtedly well constructed. Installation was relatively easy on my 2026 Ariens Ikon 52 though I do believe that for models as common as this one the directions should be model specific. Functionally the flap delivers as many YouTube videos have covered.
Worked well, except that the bushing cable pin broke off during the first mowing and had to be replaced.
Very good product need more instruction on the pedal adjustments but really like it

I purchased the GrassFlap for my 24' Gravely ZTX 42 with notched deck. The Flap helped me significantly reduce the amount of debris coming from the chute.I like that it's foot operated and when open you can inspect your deck.The Flap is a solidly built product and is back by good customer service.I would definitely buy this again!
Easy install on my Gravely ZT XL. I'm 100% happy with it.
So installing wasn't to bad.. only used once so for since installing and it work well.. possibly after long use the cable will have to be adjusted..but overall I like it… will do the job, I want so I can drive any way with getting in flower beds or under deck

This product seems like it is well built and seems like it will definitely do the job it was designed for. I would have given 5 stars but the install instructions were not very clear or defined. I was able to figure it out and get it installed but it wasn't as straight forward as it could have been. I haven't used it yet on the mower, but am sure that it will do the job intended. I would recommend this product.
