41P50-5L GrassFlap® brand chute blocker with 5L Pedal

I had the Kubota flap installed on my z422. I never did like it.
I read the reviews on your grass flap and decided to give it a try.
I LOVE it. So much nicer.
The only draw back so far is when the flap is down it blows the grass out the front.
I assume because I have non mulching blades.
I plan on purchasing one for my Gravely when I get the money saved.

Works great on my z422 Kubota with 60” deck. I wish I would have ordered a different pedal. The
10-99-35 5 pedal would have worked better space wise then the 10-99-41 5L pedal. Would you do an exchange?

Setup on an old Hustler Fastrak, took some redneck engineering to get it to fit but it works great.

I have a gravely 250z and a 272z both are from the early 2000's .The grass flaps I bought for them came with a slotted angle bracket . I purchased this grass flap for a 260z that i just got and the grass flap did not have the angle bracket . I made what you sent work ,but had to make different spacers and it still does not fit as well as the older ones with the angle bracket. I am a fan of the product and the older grass flaps have worked flawlessly. Thank you.

Installed on a Kubota Z412 48 deck.
Works perfectly.
Did not require any of the pre engineered shims.
Required 1 of the original factory deflecter mount square holes to be drilled out to a round hole and an additional hole drilled in the deck to fit the grass flap mount.
Did not require any additional holes drilled to mount the pedal on this machine.
2 of the factory punched holes aligned perfectly to bolt the pedal bracket in place.
Excellently engineered and quality materials overall.
Easily trimmed with a oscillating tool to get the corners rounded and elevation you prefer.
Did not use the red taped plastic blow back strip that was included, since I don't have any concern with how it functions without that piece.
Mow tested and functioning perfectly.
I looked at all the competitors products and I think this grass flap unit is the best option for fit and functionality.

Easy install. Easy operation with the foot pedal. Waiting for mowing season to start in northern Illinois.

The product itself works great once installed. I wish the Kit itself didn't require any drilling into the deck but that is just my preference. So I installed this kit onto my 52 inch Airens Apex. I didn't want to use the bushings that came with the universal kit because I wanted it flush on the deck instead of having it sit high on top of the bushings, plus the bushings provided with this kit wasn't tall enough to clear the welded bracket that is on the deck it needed to be roughly 3/16 of a inch taller. I'm sure if I added a couple of more washers I could have used it but again it's my personal preference of how I wanted it to be.
In order to have it flush you have to modify bracket there's a few ways to do it but luckily I'm a machinist and have access to a mill. Pretty much I added a slot located to where the welded bracket on the deck is, as well as milling down a portion of the slot on the underside to clear the weld of that bracket. Also turned the one hole that's on the bracket of the grass flap into a slot as well. Painted afterwards so it wasn't bare metal. I know went above and beyond in order to make it fit like how I wanted to fit. I'm sure if emailed them to tell them the bushings weren't tall enough to make it work they would have made it right by sending me some taller bushings. Because I did have some missing hardware and I emailed that and they responded immediately and sent some to me very quickly. just wanted add their customer service is Five star by itself. For the missing hardware it was just a screw which was probably a mistake that happens once in a blue moon. Overall I love using the grassflap it's a great product works as it should not hard to install plenty of videos on YouTube. If you were considering of getting it you definitely should saves time on clean up on where you didn't want to have grass clippings sprayed onto in the first place.

The Grass Flap is a wonderful addition to my mower. The installation was very straight forward.

Outstanding product that works perfectly! Installation was a little more involved than presented with a few more tools and such to make it go easier! I would highly suggest c-clamps with the deep reach to make attaching the blocker plate to the steel flap much easier! Installed on John Deere Z-540R with 60” deck…and the little notch on the foot plate was just the right place to route the cable up to the pedal!

Kubota Z412 48W ZT. I had to make an adapter to avoid drilling hole in the deck (did not want to chance voiding the warranty). The factory bolt holes were used. The added cost was $19.00 for material. The adapter required welding. I used all SS fasteners. The unit works great! I am glad that I went with GrassFlap.

The Grass Flap came with all the hardware you need to install , good instructions to follow. I like the foot operation over the lever which I also have on a different mower. All the hardware is heavy duty and sure to get many years of use from this product. Installed on a Ferris 3200

Install took about 3 hours about a bit harder than I thought it was going to be but once I got it set up and I have used it for 1 day I really like it

Great product well built, the installation went good you do need some mechanical skill to install. The operation of the grass flap is smooth and easy open and close.

Love it, even the wife can operate it at ease.

Installed with ease and fit very well, can't wait for the snow to melt to try it out. Ferris isx3300 60”.

The no drill mount really made installation easier. However the leveling bolt on the mount did not allow the flap assembly to be adjusted inward to close the flap against the discharge opening. A half inch relief was ground in the no drill mount allowed positioning of the flap so there was no gap between the flap and the discharge chute.
I like being able to open and close the flap on the fly with the tap of the foot with taking a hand off the controls.
I can also vary the discharge opening this control the clipping discharge distance.
Overall I'm very pleased with it's performance.

This company is great to work with I didn't see the flap I needed for a Stihl RZ 560 K so I called and Dave the owner returned my call and said the part number 41P50-5L with the SEL pedal for the Ferris will fit my mower a he took my order I received my parts the next day and installed it with the no drill mount, You will get a heavy duty commercial product that works perfectly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏻

Great product and fairly simply install; have one on my Hustler flip as well. This purchase went on a simplicity courier XT, Not a fan of the serrated foot pedal edge.
