41P50-5 GrassFlap® brand chute blocker with 5 Pedal

I love the grass flap. It works really well when it is down, and is up out of the way when it is up. It is very well made and not some flimsy junk. The instructions were a little lacking, but that is because Grass Flap doesn't have the instructions printed for the mower that I have, yet. I got instructions for a universal unit.

Installation was pretty basic and went well. Getting the foot pedal and flap adjusted took a little time but watching the video on you tube helped. All in all a very solid built grass flap!

Got rid of that long ridiculous & useless OEM chute on my John Deere Z970 R. Always seems to get in the way . Replaced it with this GrassFlap and it's a godsend. The design is great and works perfectly. I've researched other products but I'm so glad I went with the foot operated version sold here. The GrassFlap keeps the clippings off of my 1300 foot driveway and flowerbeds.

Just bought the grass flap haven't got a chance to use it yet .it looks to be cheap looking for a high price I hope it works better then I think .

I'm a weekend warrior. I just bought a new to me Z920R. After using the Grass Flap a couple mows, I could never mow without one. My beds are so much cleaner.

This is my 4th grass flap, now on all of my mowers. These are the best I have seen. The foot pedal makes it very easy to use and keep both hands on the bars of a zero turn. David is the best to work with for any questions etc.

These flaps are awesome. I manage a lake and have guys mowing around people and campers all day long. I was looking for a solution to keep them from having to mow in one direction away from the campers all the time and this fit the ticket. These work flawlessly once you get them adjusted. They are a bit of a pain too install but after the first one we flew through the second. Highly recommend

Instructions could be easier to understand when installing with the no drill mount, overall I'm impressed with the system just using it on a test run. Pretty simple to install took about 45 minutes overall, would recommend!!

I am just an average guy who mows his two-acre lawn with a John Deere Z540R. It's not commercial machine and I am only cutting about 30 times a year.

However, I got really upset every year blowing grass into all my mulch beds - and knew I needed a product like yours.

After ordering, I debated returning before even getting it. The price seemed high and after watching videos online, the install was really, really daunting. Especially with drilling holes into my mower deck.

Today, with the help of my six-year-old son, we installed in about an hour and a half. I was very impressed by the build quality and mostly ease of install. I made two small mistakes, but was able to fix them. One was mixing a similar piece (a pin on the pedal that is similar to easing the chute).

The other was mis-drilling the actual plastic chute. I may eventually need to order a new one, but barely have enough overlap on the rear to probably hold me off on that.

Overall, just wanted to say thanks for your product. Mostly for the online videos for install. And wanted to let you know an average joe like myself without much mechanical skills was able to install without screwing it up too bad

Handy tool for my mower

Sometimes I can get it to work and sometimes not. Can't seem to get the adjustment correct.

This is well designed. It is well built and seems very durable. It functions exactly as described. The installation is fairly straightforward, and now that I have done it, would be much easier than it was the first time–be prepared to spend an hour or two installing it.
Operation is simple and it works exactly as it should. I have no complaints and would recommend this product to anyone interested in upping their game when it comes to mowing.

The grass flap is awesome and exactly what I was hoping it would be! I first saw it on my neighbors mower. I will never have a mower without a Grass Flap again!!

I like this product a lot, I'm very happy with this buy, I would defiantly buy this again.

It does what they say it does . Except they need to work on staying open half way with out holding down the pedal. We cut all different types of acreage on our property , around parking lots , building's. It's great around these . But when we get to the large open area's it would be nice to lock it half open instead of all the way open . Just my and the crews opinion . Thanks for the fast shipping .
