Hand Lever Upgrade
This upgrade will replace standard foot pedal that is included in GrassFlap® brand chute blocker kit with a hand lever for operating the GrassFlap® brand chute blocker
The H3L1 hand lever is designed to mount on the side of the mowing tower to allow hand operations. The cable exits out of the bottom of the assembly.
Lever upgrade for my stand on mower has worked out great! Easy install and high quality materials! I liked it allowed me to choose between left or right side. Also mounted to factory holes on the right side on my CUB Cadet Pro X 654. GrassFlap is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a chute blocker. I’ve actually tried two other big named chute blockers that didn’t fit once I received them. GrassFlap was a direct bolt on with no modifications needed! So look no further and get this one!
Bought the 44P70-6-A31 Low Profile Heavy-Duty GrassFlap with RE Pedal (Includes Toro Proline Pedal Mount) for my 2021 Toro Proline 36 (Model 44436) and installed the flap first. Started looking at installing the foot pedal and decided that I didn't like the location since I thought I'd kick it with my big feet while walking. I also wanted to be able to run with the chute partially open. I ended up ordering the 10-99-68 H3L Hand Lever (Upgrade kit for $35) and received it in only 2 days. It's labelled as a left hand lever, but it comes with long and short spacers. I first looked at using the long spacers and mounting the lever on top (in the normal orientation), but the existing holes in the plate conflicted with some stuff, so I would have had to drill new holes in the plate too. I decided to mount it in reverse and actually like how it's out of the way, but still easily accessible. I've mowed once with it and opened/closed the chute with each pass in order to keep pushing the leaves in one direction. Worked great!

Very easy to put on and very good product love it. I would recommend it to anybody that’s thinking about one.
It was good, needed to modify the deck bracket a bit to fit and needed a Bridgeport to make these changes neatly and precisely.
The hard lever works much better than a foot pedal on our standers. No pedal in the way on the platform.
Assembly is not for the weak minded. This attachment has made my life infinitely easier. Highly suggested and would run this on every mower i buy for many years to come.
