The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker is the ideal OCDC, operator controlled discharge chute. The foot-operation allows the user to close the discharge chute at any time, any place without taking their hands off the mower€™s controls. The chute blocker plate opens a full 180 degrees and completely clears the edge of the mower to allow the mower to fit in those tight spaces.

The 5D Pedal has the cable exit the pedal parallel to mounting surface.
Installation

Installed quickly and easily. Their YouTube channel provides a very easy to follow adjustment tutorial and I was off and running in about 45 minutes! Much sturdier and convenient than hand chutes. I run them on all my mowers now.
All of our mowers get a Grassflap before we cut the first blade of grass. I did have to use a couple of washers for the bottom side of the pedal on the new ZK3; the 'drain holes' are a bit too big for the included flange huts.
Easy to install. Easy to modify to fit grass catcher as well.
I purchased a used Wright Stander that had a hand operated chute blocker that required me to get off the machine to open and close. I replaced it with the GrassFlap unit and I'm very happy with the foot activated operation. The unit is well engineered and easily installed following both the included manual instructions and the multiple videos online. I'd buy it again and recommend the GrassFlap for those in the market for purchasing a chute blocker.

Absolutely the best! If you're a commercial operator there is simply no other chute blocker that compares. The ability to open and close the chute via the foot pedal is a game changer. It's safer than taking one hand off the controls and allows you to open and close chute at will without slowing down or sacrificing safety. Wouldn't think of owning a stand-on mower without one!

Love the grass flap! Super easy to operate once you understand how to use it.
Instructions were a little hard to understand sometimes & the videos didn't show my exact model of mower so I just had to guess in a couple of places. The most time consuming part for me was adjusting the spring & tension. I didn't realize that there was a specific way to operate it or a video showing you how until I had made adjustments to the spring & tension cable.
Overall, I love the product & will order more. Just be sure to watch ALL of the videos before installing or trying to adjust.
