The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker is the ideal OCDC, operator controlled discharge chute. The chute blocker plate opens a full 180 degrees and completely clears the edge of the mower to allow the mower to fit in those tight spaces.

After the 1st cut of my new mower, I immediately looked for something like this. I've seen professionals use all kinds of flaps before and now that I had purchased a commercial mower, I figured there was something for this SCAG SFC30. The mower is a beast and the flap is awesome! Helps keep my grass clippings out of my mulch beds.
I ordered the grass flap for my scag sfc 30 in June an wanted to really use it before doing a review, so I've used it for 2 months now and I must say the grass flap is a game changer an one oh the best investments I've made. I am in the process of purchasing a scag 52” stand on and I will be purchasing a grass flap for that as well.
This is easily my favorite addition to my mower. Being able to quickly switch between discharge and mulching saves a ton of time. My beds and sidewalk are kept clean.
Installation was straight forward, and took about 20 minutes. Give the installation video on YouTube a watch first to get an overview of then steps. Then follow the included instruction manual.
If you own a Scag SFC30, this is a must have.
It is a beast ! Super easy install works perfectly the way i imagined. Highly recommend for anyone who's on the fence about it !
Game changer. Saves me tons of time, cleanup, and eliminates the stop/start that I navigated due to close neighbors and impediments. Best upgrade to my mower I could have done!
