What's Included
The kit includes everything needed to install and operate the GrassFlap® brand chute blocker.
This includes:
- 2-piece steel and heavy-duty plastic flap assembly 8-inch to mount to discharge opening
- 5D pedal (10-99-79)
- 70" cable (10-99-07)
- Scag no-drill mount (A23)
- Flap Open Stop Tab (A25)
- Mounting hardware for installation
The 5D Pedal has the cable exit the pedal parallel to mounting surface.
Installation
Assembly is required. Modification to blocker plate size and shape may be required for best fit on some mowers.
This is definitely the way to go for this mower. Hands free operation allows for a smooth transition from open to a closed flap. The foot petal placement is tight with the scag 32" but after trial and error it works great!

Very pleasantly surprised. Works flawlessly. Can't wait to get my other two mounted.
I love it after the headache of putting it on , you really need to make videos on installing it on different models . And not explaining the foot pedal pump action instead of pushing it all the way down made me almost send this back . Liking it now after I figured everything out only thing concerning me now is how long the shield guard will last seing its made out of some type of plastic , time will tell
But so far I like it
