The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker is the ideal OCDC, operator controlled discharge chute. The chute blocker plate opens a full 180 degrees and completely clears the edge of the mower to allow the mower to fit in those tight spaces. The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker fits most zero-turn mowers.

Installation
Assembly is required. Modification to blocker plate size and shape may be required for best fit on some mowers.
Great easy to use chute flap!!
It is great I have no complaints it is working like it should
I recently installed the GrassFlap on my Scag V-Ride II 36".
While the product functions as intended, the overall experience was mixed.
The installation process was quite a headache; the provided instructions were convoluted and lacked specific details for my setup, which resulted in a lot of unnecessary guesswork and time spent fixing mistakes. To their credit, the support team reached out promptly after I expressed my frustration, acknowledged that their manual is outdated, and they are actively looking to improve it based on feedback.
My other concern was the pricing. $450 price point feels steep given that it is a plastic-plate model that required significant manual cutting and fitting. The company did clarify that the price difference is tied to the hardware configuration (hand-lever vs. foot-pedal) rather than the material used, which clears up some confusion, though it is still a premium price for a plastic component that requires fabrication.
Ultimately, it’s a solid piece of functional gear once it’s on, but be prepared for some hurdles and a learning curve if you've never installed one before.
Also if you open the box and take out the parts and decide you want to return, it is a 30% restock fee ($135). So make sure this is the product you want before you pull the trigger.
Would have given it 5 stars, but it is not the metal plate it is made of some type of polymer. I was under the impression that it would be metal. I was not informed that the metal plate is not made for the 36" SCAG V-Ride 2
Worth every penny, I love mine. Great fitment for my Scag 53 v-ride and my 36 v-ride. Highly recommend
