The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker is the ideal OCDC, operator controlled discharge chute. The foot-operation allows the user to close the discharge chute at any time, any place without taking their hands off the mower€™s controls. The chute blocker plate opens a full 180 degrees and completely clears the edge of the mower to allow the mower to fit in those tight spaces.

The kit includes everything needed to install and operate the GrassFlap® brand chute blocker.

- All steel flap assembly to mount to discharge opening

The 5L Pedal has the cable exit the pedal parallel to mounting surface and has an L shaped base for mounting.
Installation
Direct bolt to existing holes on deck and foot platform - no drilling required.
Limitations
DOES NOT FIT MOWERS WITH HERO DECK THAT HAVE A SMALL DISCHARGE OPENING

Easy install and works flawlessly . Took about 5 attempts on working the flap but then was easy. It’s all about the tension in the spring and pressing partially and quickly to get it to stay up. Great design! Maybe looking for one for a bobcat 60” now
Works nice but the cable rubs against the chain that the deck on my Scag Tiger Cat II hangs from. The mount for the cable should be moved about an inch toward the back of the no drill mount.

Great product, built well, easy install, super fast shipping. Mower is so much easier to maneuver with the discharge shoot removed from the deck. My install was on a Scag Tiger Cat 2, if there is one thing that could be different is the length of the cable. I think its a one size fits all and you have to get creative keeping the excess cable out of the pulleys and belts

You can't go wrong if you read them, which I did not. Sent pictures in as requested and got a immediate response with suggestions to improve my install. This is my second GrassFlap. I mounted this on a 2023 Scag Tiger Cat 2 and it was a breeze to install. It took maybe 10 minutes to gather tools and install the no-drill braket and flap/spring assembly. The pedal mounted in a minute, and I took my time routing and mounting the cable and making adjustments. There is plenty of cable to carefully choose a route that allows use of the lift-up foot deck cover, just be sure to keep the cable off the belts and pulleys. All-in this took about 30 minutes. It operates flawlessly with a light kick of the pedal and the steel flap appears to be heavy-duty.
First one I've purchased and installed. Seems to be built well. Instructions were not the best. Took a little while to get dialed in. Only used for one week but so far it works as advertised. Let's see how it is doing after 5 years. When I spend $400 I expect to get 5-10 years out of something with in reason considering wear parts and all. We will see.

This works great with my Scag Cheetah! It was quick and easy to install, and the foot-operated design is by far my favorite feature. It makes using it much more convenient and keeps my hands free while operating the mower. Highly recommended!

I think its a fine addition. Install was not super simple. Flap does not stay open to the side like i was hoping. Customer service was great. I was able to facetime some folks for help with the install. Now that i have it i do wish i wouldve gone with the rubber/plastic cover. I think it wouldve been easier to install and the flap closed wouldve sealed better. Overall its OK, but i dont think id buy again for another mower.
Once again, easy install on the tiger cat 2 just like my V ride. Would have liked the smaller pedal like my VRide for the Tiger Cat as it’s a bit bulky but that’s my feelings. Absolutely love the simplicity of the Grassflap and it’s the only brand that will be on any of my mowers. Pictures will be send over soon. Thanks Grassflap crew!
