The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker is the ideal OCDC, operator controlled discharge chute. The foot-operation allows the user to close the discharge chute at any time, any place without taking their hands off the mower€™s controls. The chute blocker plate opens a full 180 degrees and completely clears the edge of the mower to allow the mower to fit in those tight spaces.

- All steel flap assembly to mount to discharge opening

The 5D Pedal has the cable exit the pedal parallel to mounting surface.
Installation
Direct bolt to existing holes on deck and foot platform - no drilling required.
Limitations
DOES NOT FIT MOWERS WITH HERO DECK THAT HAVE A SMALL DISCHARGE OPENING

I absolutely love my new chute blocker. It was relatively easy to install and works phenomenally. The quality is top notch and I am super pleased.
Product was delivered fast. Easy to install and fit perfectly as expected. No bending of rubber like on the older models. The grass flap is easy to use. It’s a life saver for keeping grass where I want it and out of the mulch beds. Save me on clean up after mowing properties the grass flap is a must have on any mower.
High quality easy to install
Shipping was fast and my new grass flap and parts looked great upon opening. Installation was simple(not my first flap). The included instructions were informative but also slightly confusing at times. A few YouTube videos helped answer some of my questions. All in all very pleased.
By far the best chute blocker I have ever used, and I now have 3 of them. If you're looking for a chute blocker that works great and super easy to install and operate then I would defiantly recommend Grass flap.
Love the simplistic design that permits you to install it without drilling. We have several of these on our Scags and they perform well in both wet and dry conditions. Highly recommended. For anyone questioning the ease of installation, I'd suggest simply pull up the videos online and you will find all of the additional support you may want or need.
This is my second GrassFlap that I purchased, for my new Scag V Ride. I've had one on my Z Master for 3 years and absolutely love it! As always great quality and function!

4 stars because the price tag is a little steep, and the foot pedal configuration isn't quite ideal. Otherwise, seems like a great product. Pretty straight forward install, and a couple nice youtube videos to assist with fine tuning. Cut my first lawn with it today, and I think this will work great for me.
If the pedal was flipped 180 degrees (which you cant currently due to the cable) and the pedal was L shaped, it would make it much easier to just lift your heal and roll slightly to step on it. With this configuration, I have to move my hips to flip my heal far enough to reach It, which can toss you off your line.
This is the 6th grass flap I have ordered. Great product. Wouldn’t use anything else. Steal blocking plate is easiest to install. Will order more in future. Fast shipping.
This is not my first Grass Flap and will not be my last. We outfit ALL our mowers with these.
