The GrassFlap® brand chute blocker is the ideal OCDC, operator controlled discharge chute. The foot-operation allows the user to close the discharge chute at any time, any place without taking their hands off the mower€™s controls. The chute blocker plate opens a full 180 degrees and completely clears the edge of the mower to allow the mower to fit in those tight spaces.

What's Included
The kit includes everything needed to install and operate the GrassFlap® brand chute blocker.
This includes:
- All steel flap assembly to mount to discharge opening
- 5C pedal (10-99-54)
- 70" cable (10-99-07)
- Scag no-drill mount (A1)
- Mounting hardware for installation
The 5C Pedal has the cable exit the pedal parallel to mounting surface and has an L shaped base for mounting with the 5 pedal pad.
Installation
Direct bolt to existing holes on deck and foot platform - no drilling required.
Limitations
DOES NOT FIT MOWERS WITH HERO DECK THAT HAVE A SMALL DISCHARGE OPENING

Just bought a new mower so I felt like I needed to try a chute blocker and so far I'm loving this one from Grass Flap! I done a lot of research and decided on a Grass Flap and I'm very happy I did. It really make a difference on how I mow my yard now.
Easy installation, however the video and the paperwork installation are different
Excellent product. Highly recommend. Easy to install and use. Keeps grass out of areas you don't want it to go and helps to reduce the risk of sending objects flying out from under the deck. I have two and they are some of my favorite add ons. I put it on my second mower the same night it was delivered.

It works great. I'd say it is a game changer as it helps keep grass out of mulch beds, pools, the road and everywhere else you don't want it.
Good product overall. the mount does "Fit" but definitely designed to be universal, it didn't orient in a way that would look factory like or as if it was built for my mower specifically. operation was a little tricky at first. i assumed press the pedal not tap the pedal but i take that as operator error.

Very nice. After first operation I see the benefits. Installation was pretty straightforward. Would have liked a few more details for exact placement for the foot pedal on my Scag Cheetah 61” deck. But otherwise installation was straightforward. I used the grass flapper for an hour and then took it over to my father-in-law to let him mow his part of the lawn. He’s 83 and was able to operate it after a few minutes with problem. We are in east Texas and now about 10 acres. I will probably get another shot ne for my other Scag Cheetah.
Great product!
I was referred to this product by another professional lawn care provider. I was reluctant to spend that much money at first but once I did, I was blown away. Quick shipping. Easiest install and I was hooked after the first yard. Using the grass flap has allowed me to better control my grass clippings which means less blowing after mowing.
The install is straight forward. The cable adjustment had me boggled for a moment. Getting the peddle to hit the stop plate. One of the first lines is placing the cable on the flap and leaving the nuts close to the end. Once the peddle cable end is installed you will need to adjust the cable on the flapper.
The 3 Fs _ Fit, Form, and Function are all there. The fit is excellent for the Scag 61".
I highly recommend Grass Flap for your mower.
After having a failure with the mower brand chute blocker I wanted something that wasn't gonna be to difficult to use. The grass flap brand came highly recommended and I purchased one. It arrived packaged very well, and the directions of you feel are overwhelming. The QR codes make a video very easy to understand. Adjustment took a few minutes as I'm very picky and wanted it to be spot on. We've ran this mower now for close to 10 hours in commercial application and it has been flawless. Fitment was great and the direct bolt on plate is a great feature for the Scag mowers. I'll definitely be buying more as our other chute blockers fail from the dealer. I'm sold on the Grassflap brand now!
