While the idea of the GrassFlap is good, the durability and customer service are disappointing. The mount bent despite normal operation, and getting support has been extremely frustrating. Instead of resolving the issue, the company keeps insisting the part couldn’t fail, which doesn’t help. For the price, I expected better quality and better service

There was some confusion on the hand control mounting but the updated pdf clears it up and it works great. The design of all the parts and how they interact is top notch and a great fit on the huge curved outlet. It is a bit on the expensive side but the initial cost will be forgotten as years of use add up.

The GrassFlap is hands down the best on the market. Yes it is pricey compared to other chute blockers, but the ease of use and compact design makes it #1. This is my second one I've purchased and it works as good as the other one I have been running for 4 years. The all metal design is the way to go. Only downside is you don't get extra stickers to put on coolers or trailer lol.

Works great. It saves space on the foot platform. Easy to open and close while mowing.

The grass flap works great for the Scagg v ride 2 work used it several times already. I also bought two grass flaps last year for my two kioti zdx sit down mowers with the footpedals and they were great too

This is my second grass flap. The other has a foot pedal. I like the hand level a lot more. I’m actually interested if I can buy just a hand lever for my other grass flap. Way more convenient and to get the foot pedal out of the way of my incredible dance moves while mowing!

Good instructions were a little confusing but product itself is great

I attached this to my Scag Vride XL with 61 inch deck.The directions sent were not the clearest, but the videos helped. Although I did have to use 3 different videos in order to complete the installation. The diagrams are just not explicit enough to see, especially for the handle installation. Speaking of which, I hate the foam rubberized handle due to the fact that it just slips onto the metal handle which means it slips off everytime I engage the handle and with gloved hands, you may not notice and end up losing the cover on the first day and run over or something. There should be a better method to secure the handle cover. Otherwise, the chute blocker helped immensely in my cut of a yard with multiple trees with mulch.

The directions kinda suck, I had no directions for routing the hand lever. Works great though, saves me a ton of potential issues, headaches etc. Price is a bit steep but you have a standout product that is highly durable and does what i need it to do, I appreciate you

The hand lever is a game changer for the vride. Absolutely love the ease of use and the ease of installation. Everything came packaged really well. I went with the metal option. It took maybe 30 minutes.

Customer service was excellent. Ordered a grass fla for a Vride scag that I was going to purchase. Demo’d the vride and decided to go with the tiger cat instead. Contacted grass flap and explained the situation the returned the vride grass flap and sent me the one for the tiger cat no questions asked.

This is the only chute blocker to use! We have 14 mowers and they all have grass flaps on them.
