Easy to install I’ve used them for last 5 years.,

It was a great fit for my 52’ Scag zero turn, it works great nstraddlinga very nice pieceequipment . It compliment my mower.

I installed the 41SM50-5L-A1 GrassFlap chute blocker (Direct Bolt with Steel Blocker Plate and 5L pedal) on my Scag and couldn’t be happier. The build quality is excellent — thick steel, solid welds, and nothing about it feels cheap or flimsy. It’s clearly built to last.

Installation was straightforward, especially with the no-drill mount. Everything lined up the way it should. The pedal action is smooth and responsive, and the blocker plate fully closes off the chute when needed. It’s great for mowing near landscaping, driveways, or vehicles without blowing debris everywhere.

This isn’t a lightweight plastic accessory — it’s heavy-duty and feels like it belongs on a commercial mower. If you’re on the fence, I’d recommend it. It’s one of those upgrades you appreciate every time you mow.

Very impressed with the simple and efficient design. It works great at keeping clippings out of my mulch beds. I will never own another mower without one installed.

Grass flap was easy to install. I think this grass flap will be that is all steel will be much better than the other two that I have that got the plastic on them

Really glad I got it!!! Used mower twice and it is a lot more user friendly than the stock one , really the foot pedal operated is a breeze.

Works absolutely perfect. Allows you to mow near the edges without throwing the grass in the driveway or other areas where it is not wanted.

I got my first grass flap, and it was kind of like a plastic that you had to heat and mold. It did the job. The directions were not very good. So I realized that something was installed wrong. Anyway, we moved on. And we seen that they had the metal flap that formed to my skag deck. So he got it. And boy, a water, great purchase. The foot pedal works with ease that flap comes flying up flying down forms to the deck. If you are shooting a lot of grass out, the metal flap is a little bit light. Haven't really figured out how to maybe tense that up yet. But man, it's a lifesaver.It saves me at least ten minutes, fifteen minutes on a lawn.

Works well as advertised, the directions and illustrations could be a lot better they need attention, and I had to add my own washers to bolt the pedal down to the deck otherwise the bolts provided would have come right through the mounting holes otherwise it functions pretty good and I am happy with it. Put this on my Scag Patriot 61". Residential use. Install was straight forward. Most time consuming part was just deciding where to mount the foot pedal so that it was easily accessible but also not in the way.
Ended up having to drill some holes.
Quality is very good and I expect it will last a long time.
I drug my feet for about a year on buying this but I'm really glad I did. If you're on the fence just buy it. You'll be glad you did, I am.

Disclaimer - I am not a commercial user, just a guy with one mower and a lot of property to mow.

Well built, well designed product. Install was straight-forward and took about an hour. The flip peddle is a bit larger than I'd like and eats up quite a bit of real-estate on the front of the mowers footwell.

By and large the flap works as advertised although there are enough contact gaps for my Scag to throw some grass back at me. I live in a high wind area and, before installation of the GrassFlap, would be covered in grass from cross-wind. That is largely eliminated.

I also have much better clearance and visibility side-to-side allowing me to maneuver in tighter areas and not mow down the wife's plants. For that alone it deserves 5-stars.

Bottom line - I'd definitely buy it again and highly recommend it.
